Have you always wanted to learn piano?
Welcome to Rachel’s Piano Studio! Anyone can learn! Kids, teens, and even adults! Scroll down to learn more!
A Southern California native, Rachel has been playing the piano since she was 10 years old. She’s always had an interest in music since she was a kid. She took her musical career more seriously since she started high school, playing for marching band and jazz band at Workman High School. After high school, she decided to further her musical education at the Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena for a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance.
She’s had the wonderful opportunity to perform in jazz combos and big bands. Currently, she is performing with cover band Midnight Ride, Archibald Ranch Community Church, and country band Queen of Hearts. She’s also a piano teacher as well who has worked with several studios throughout SoCal and is currently in the process of starting her own piano studio.
She loves listening to Jazz (all of its sub genres), Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop, and Japanese Pop/Rock. Some of her favorite artists include Thelonious Monk, Robert Glasper, Moonchild, Horace Silver, Anderson. Pack, etc.
